The Cheapest Way to Buy Xcaret Tickets

We never stood at the Xcaret ticket register: our family's park access came bundled with the hotel stay, which is exactly why we could price every path without rooting for one. What follows is the buying guide for day visitors, built from Xcaret's own published prices (read July and August 2026) and the math that decided our own booking. The tier-by-tier comparison of what each ticket includes is separate: Xcaret Plus vs Basic.
The four prices, and the one that matters
Xcaret publishes a regular price and an online advance price for every tier. As of July 2026, per Xcaret's own pricing pages:

The column on the right of "online, 7+ days" is the whole discount game: 10 percent, every tier, published on their own pages. An official FAQ mentions 15 percent at 21 days out and banners tease "up to 25 percent," but the site contradicts itself past 10, so we state the 10 as fact and everything deeper as a pleasant surprise. Before paying either column, scan the official promotions page for seasonal codes, which is the one place a better number legitimately lives.
Buy at the official admission pagead and not at the gate: the gate's column is the regular price, and the only thing waiting buys you is the shorter of two lines.
The kids' math
Two published rules do most of a family's arithmetic. Ages 0 to 4 enter free, with ID. Ages 5 to 11 pay 75 percent of the adult price, on every tier. For our family shape (one teen at adult price, one four-year-old at zero), the kid column was the difference between Plus being an easy call and a debate; the full tier decision is in Plus vs Basic.
One logistical rule outranks the money: as of July 2026, Xcaret's admission pages state that a physically presented passport is the accepted ID, including for verifying children's ages. Other official pages are softer about kids' documents. The safe version is passports for everyone, in the bag, and the cheap version is a ruined first hour at the gate.
When tickets are the wrong purchase
Count your park days before you count your savings. A family of four buying three park days at these prices spends four figures on admissions alone, before food, before the roughly $32 round-trip transportation add-on, before a single locker. The all-fun inclusive rate at the hotel bundles every park for everyone in the room plus transfers plus all meals and drink, and the crossover for us happened somewhere around three park days: the bill and the full math are here, and how many days you actually need is here.
If you are staying off-property regardless, two more honest notes. Multi-park bundles exist on Xcaret's own site; price them against single days before assuming either wins, because the answer moves with season. And buy for the pacing, not the spreadsheet: one park per day is the realistic family rhythm, so a "deal" on four parks in three days is just money moved to a day you'll be too tired to use.
